If, like us, you enjoy seeing the area off the beaten track, then Off Roading (Raid) 4×4 is for you. Here in the foothills and high Pyrenees it is easy to do. Access to well marked routes are everywhere. The ancient routes travel through beautiful villages, many of which you can stop in overnight in an auberge or simpler refuge.

It’s possible to travel from coast to coast across these beautiful peaks and hills if you want. Zig zag across the Spanish French border. You can also track the route used by the smugglers during the war.

4×4 access allows you to get into the deeper, wilder parts of the Pyrenees. The breathtaking views are around every corner. Here you are unlikely to see anyone else, maybe just a small brown bear.
